Perplexity

Connect Moonlit to Perplexity as a custom remote connector.

Before you start

  • A Moonlit account. Sign in at app.moonlit.ai with your email and the one-time code it sends you, or with Google or Microsoft. Organizations can use single sign-on. Signing in creates the account if you do not have one.
  • A Pro, Max or Enterprise plan. Custom remote connectors are paid features.

The server URL:

https://mcp.moonlit.ai/mcp

Add the server

  1. Click your profile icon, then Settings, then Connectors.
  2. Click + Custom connector and select Remote.
  3. Name it Moonlit, paste the server URL, choose OAuth, and acknowledge the third-party connector notice.
  4. Sign in with your Moonlit account to finish.

Check it works

Open a new chat and look at the tools your app lists for Moonlit. There are nine. Then ask:

If something fails

  • Check that the URL ends in /mcp.
  • Remove the server entry, add it again, and sign in once more.
  • Ask for your Moonlit account status. The check is free and shows your remaining calls.
