Moonlit Connect has two access routes. The MCP server is self-serve with a Moonlit account. The Data API is provisioned by our team.

Moonlit MCP

Create a Moonlit account, then connect the MCP server from your MCP client. You sign in with your account during setup; no key is needed.

• Create an account at app.moonlit.ai.
• Follow the MCP quickstart to connect Claude, or How to connect for any other MCP client.
• Organizations can pool usage across members and create MCP keys for deployed services. See Organizations.

For enterprise MCP agreements, book a call with our team. Terms and service levels agreed there take precedence over the published MCP Terms, which govern self-serve subscriptions.

Data API

Data API access is set up by our team. We provision your subscription key and walk through your integration before you start building.

• Once your key is provisioned, the Data API quickstart takes you to your first successful request.
