Eudia is the AI platform that builds Expert Digital Twins for legal and business teams at large enterprises, accelerating high-volume work like contract review and compliance so that corporate counsel can focus on strategic matters. Until now, the corpus underneath their product covered the jurisdictions where most of their customers operate: the United States. Supporting European matters for the same customers and for the European-headquartered teams they are starting to win, sat behind the same problem every platform team encounters when it looks at Europe. The official sources are scattered across more than a hundred national and supranational portals that share almost nothing in structure, the reference graph between them has to be assembled by hand across languages and document types and what looks from the outside like a single European corpus is, underneath, dozens of incompatible ingestion projects in disguise. Most US legal AI platforms encounter this when they begin scoping European coverage; most of them postpone it.

What sits behind the integration

Moonlit Connect was built so that work does not need to live inside the customer's stack. Behind one authenticated endpoint sit 13M+ documents across 28 European jurisdictions, drawn from 110+ portals and 1000+ official sources: EU institutions, national supreme and constitutional courts, competition and data-protection authorities, ECHR HUDOC and the underlying member-state legislative corpora. The reference graph runs across all of it; 26M+ references in total with 32,000+ pointing at the GDPR alone, queryable down to the specific article. Every document is source-attributed, continuously updated, available as text, HTML or markdown without post-processing and linked back to passages inside the original so a user can verify the exact phrase a citation rests on.

For Eudia, that means European coverage shows up inside their product without their team ingesting, normalising or maintaining anything. Their users see case law and legislation across European jurisdictions sitting alongside the US sources already in place. The integration is one API key.

"The Moonlit Data API gave us a complete European corpus in days, expanding Eudia’s legal source coverage across the Atlantic"

Omar Haroun, CEO & Co-Founder, Eudia

The pattern

Most platforms eventually arrive at the same answer: building cross-border legal coverage in-house is a multi-year project that needs a dedicated data team and a deep familiarity with European legal sources most US engineers will not have seen before. Implementing that coverage through Moonlit Connect takes a day.

If you are building legal AI for the US market and your customers are starting to ask about Europe, Eudia's path shows what’s possible. The Moonlit Data API is live today, and our job is to make sure the law is in there with you.
